Dr. Moses Henry Aikins was a graduate of Victoria College (1855) and was a professor of medicine at the Toronto School of Medicine and associate professor at the University of Toronto. He died December 19, 1921 at the age of 90.  Dr. Aikins was a member of a well known Ontario family that included brothers, Dr. W.T. Aikins, a noted surgeon and first Dean of Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto (1887) and James C. Aikins, father of J.A. M Aikins,(later Sir), graduate of U of T (BA 1875, MA 1876) was lieutenant-governor of Manitoba (ca 1882).
