Admin. history/Biographical Sketch: Established ca January 1851 when the Office of the Bursar and Registrar were split to form two separate offices.  Re-organized on January 1, 1946 when placed under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Comptroller. Dissolved 30 June 1956.

Scope and content: 
Records of the Office of the Bursar including minutes of University of King’s College Council, correspondence and other legal documents of Bursars, including Henry Boys, Joseph Wells, David Buchan, John Edward Berkeley Smith and Ferdinand Albert Moure;  correspondence,  notes and memoranda, register and minutes books of Convocation and its Executive Committee; financial records relating to the University’s endowment lands.
