Admin. history: The Edward Kylie Trust was established in 1921 in honour of Edward Kylie (BA 1901, University College), associate professor in the Department of History. Kylie enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in December 1915 and died of illness in Owen Sound, Ontario in 1916. The object of the trust was to provide a scholarship to enable a University of Toronto student in Modern History to pursue their studies at a British university. The trust was administered by a board of five trustees.

Scope and content: Files assembled by J. Alexander Langford while a trustee of the Edward Kylie Trust.  They contain legal documents, minutes, correspondence, and financial statements.
