Biographical Sketch: Frederick Fry (1908-1989) was on staff in the Faculty of Zoology for almost 40 years starting in 1936.  A specialist in the study of fish (limnology), he spent most of his career as Director of the Ontario Fisheries Research Laboratory.

Scope and content: Correspondence, minutes, reports, research notes, manuscripts, administrative files, articles, and other material documenting Fry's work as a researcher and as a member of government committees, commissions and boards.

Reports, photographs and 2 prototypes relating to valve research and development carried out by the Department of Physics for the Department of National Defence during World War II.
