New exhibit in the Reading Room!
Fly Me to the Fonds invites visitors into the archives to explore how the University of Toronto helped shape the early days of Canadian aviation. Drawing on records of First World War flight training, the Thomas Richardson Loudon fonds, and mid century airline ephemera, the exhibition traces U of T’s role in aviation education, engineering, and early passenger flight. Together, these materials reveal how innovation on campus helped Canada take to the skies. Exhibit on view in the UTARMS Reading Room now through Spring 2026.
Researched and displayed by Nourane Abdelshafy, UTARMS Graduate Student Library Assistant.
