Biographical Sketch: Thomas Arthur Wilson (1935- ) earned a BA in economics (University of British Columbia, 1957), AM (Harvard, 1959), and PhD (Harvard, 1961). He taught at Harvard from 1961 to 1967 when he joined the Department of Political Economy at the University of Toronto. He held administrative posts within the Institute for Policy Analysis, Department of Political Economy, Department of Economics, and Rotman School of Management. His research interests include economic forecasting, fiscal policy analysis, wage-price models, competition policy, advertising, and industrial organization. He retired in 2001.

Scope and content: Correspondence, subject and conference files, notes, minutes, reports, assignments, exams, course outlines, letters of reference, manuscripts, transcripts, legal decisions, research data, and other material documenting the teaching, research, and administrative activities of Thomas A. Wilson as a professor of economics and later as a consultant.
