Biographical Sketch: Robert Boyd Thomson was a professor of botany. His wife Minnie Thomson was secretary of the League of Nations Committee of the Toronto Local Council for Women. Their daughter Margaret Head Thomson (BA, 1930; MA, 1931) was a professor of classics and high school teacher.

Scope and content: Correspondence, notes, manuscripts, publications, photoprints, addresses, diaries, memorabilia, and other materials documenting the family life of the Thomsons, the education and teaching activities of Margaret Head Thomson, the professional activities of Robert Boyd Thomson, and the volunteer work of Minnie Thomson. Includes material relating to the Head and Drummond families.
