Biographical Sketch: Born in Blackheath, England, 10 February 1927.  BA (UC, 1947), MA (1948), PhD (Princeton). Associate professor of mathematics and associate dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science. Killed in a fall at Clemenceau Icefield in the Selkirk Mountains east of Mica Creek, BC on 2 August 1972.

Scope and content: B1984-0002: Minutes, annual reports, financial statements, correspondence, publications relating to the University Settlement (1945-1948).

B1990-0013: Correspondence, diaries, publications, photoprints and memorabilia relating to the education, professional and personal life of Professor Sharp of the department of mathematics.
