UTARMS holds the records of many fish-loving faculty, students, and community members, so our fonds are packed to the gills with many fish-tastic items: photographs, illustrations, correspondence, and more - even actual fish fins and scales!

Through the display of a selection of these materials, Fish in the Fonds explores the fascinating fish found in the records, the joys of fishing, and the University of Toronto’s long history of fish-related research and learning across disciplines.

Exhibit on view in the UTARMS Reading Room throughout the winter and spring semesters.

Researched and displayed by Chloe Chaitov.
